Foundation Course
The Course is for complete newcomers to the science and consists of some 8 -10 lectures and tutorials which introduce and cover all the important basics of hand shape analysis (Cheiromorphognomy), Lineal interpretations (Cheirogrammeognomy) Cheirological Elements and shape, skin, textures, nails, angles, gesture, digits & phalangeal analysis.
Students learn how to take and store their own and others imprints. Much of the work is done using a participants own imprints so a great deal of self analysis (& discovery) is experienced during this course.
At the completion of the course there is a simple test and all participants recieve certification.
Intermediate Course
This course covers all the themes mentioned above but in greater detail. It also includes studies in the Historical precedents and methods of Cheirology , Analysis of famous persons imprints, Phalangeal & elemental interbalancing, Psychological dispositions, Vocational analysis and Dermatoglyphics. The course also covers practical examination of the hands and the preparation of written reports for clients. As before upon completion of the course there is a simple test and all participants recieve certification.
Advanced Course
This course is designed for specialists, or those who wish to develop their analytical skills to a very high degree. It consists of various modules of study in which the various cheirological components are each successively re-examined and applied to specific themes in great detail. During this course students pick a particular theme of interest to them and embark upon their own research projects concerning it under the guidance of a tutor. Here originality and accuracy are key features. At the end of this course the student produces a thesis which is presented to the Society for appraisal.
Medical Diagnostics Course
This course is designed for those interested in the various medical aspects of Cheirology and covers diagnostics and analysis of the various hand features as well as dematoglyphics. It also places great emphasis upon elemental interbalancing, particularly in the case of psychological analyses. This course has proved very useful to those skilled in the various arts of alternative or complimentary medicine as an adjunct to their main diagnostic practices.
Teacher Training Course
The Society encourages the spread of our art and welcomes those who are interested in teaching others and helping to ffset the damage often done to our art by unqualified or rapacious persons. Teaching courses are periodically arranged for those who are both interested and possess the necessary aptitude and certification. Basically there are three levels of these courses, one for each of the Diploma levels and which enable their holder to teach and conduct examinations for that level.
Cross Border Qualification
In order to encourage the study of Cheirology the Society has a system wherebye practitioners who have trained in other traditions can qualify for a Society approved diploma by submitting examples of their prior studies, courses, writings or publications etc for perusal and approval by the Society. Such submissions if approved are lodged in our library records with one copy going to the General Council and may be used for future research by students. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity certain factors should be noted.
The submitted work(s) must be the sole property of their author and original to them.
They should preferably be in the English language.
They must substantially reflect the principles, approaches and practices of Cheirology as laid out in the Society's texts and publications, particularly those in the book 'Chinese Hand Analysis'.
They should be clearly typewritten and spell checked.
