Tutorials
The Society organises the training of teachers and lecturers in Cheirology on a systematic basis and these in turn arrange classes in their own areas of residence. By maintaining a central register of active tutors the Society is able to direct enquirers, researchers and other interested parties to relevant sources of knowledge.
All our classes are held in private premises, often in the various tutors own homes and are always kept small so that individual attention can be paid to each member. Written projects upon the class subject are usually given out at each tutorial and the accumulated papers count towards the gaining of the basic diploma of studies awarded at the end of the course.
As with all human endeavours the number of tutors actively teaching at any one time varies greatly through any year although we generally try to arrange new courses at the start of each season (=4 per year) If you are a complete newcomer to Cheirology it may be that sometimes there is no free place in a course or class at the time you prefer. In this case we keep your name on a waiting list and will notify you in plenty of time when places do become free or new courses are arranged.

Many of our qualified members do not teach at all but instead conduct their own personal research and studies along themes which especially interest them and sometimes they present papers upon these at our various seminars or meetings. Much valuable research is done by members in this manner and there is often inter-tutor cooperation in the checking and finalising of research projects.
